Travel
If you're looking to find me somewhere on a three day weekend, your best bet is to try the airport. Over the last several years I have managed to travel to over 30 countries and counting.
I will often be asked what my favorite place to visit is. That's a difficult question for me to answer. Some of my favorite places that I have visited are Dubai, Hong Kong, Monaco, and Krakow. The most unusual place I have travelled to is actually quite close to home and that is Cambridge Bay, Canada. Cambridge Bay is quite literally in arctic Canada and is one of the most northern cities in the world.
In order to get to Cambridge Bay you have to take a one hour flight from Yellowknife in a half cargo half passenger aircraft that is equipped to land on a gravel runway. While there are not many attractions that are particularly touristy there, the vast difference in lifestyle is quite intriguing to experience.
Aviation
Having been around aviation my entire life. I recently took it upon myself to obtain my private pilots certificate (more commonly known as a "pilots license").
Now that I am a private pilot, I am working on learning to fly my grandpa's RV-10 and obtain my instrument rating. My plan is to become a commercially rated pilot.
I enjoy flying because of the amazing places it can take you both in general aviation and through commercial airline travel.
